Wednesday night the budget committee added an additional $115,000 to the replacement pay line item by a 5-4 vote. Bringing the proposed budget to $866,000. This number is still short of preventing a staff reduction from 15 firefighters per shift, but is closer to the goal of maintaining the fourth rescue company.
